We Aspire Community Medical Outreach
The We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative, in celebration of a decade of service and meaningful impacts in Nigeria and a bid to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3), spearheaded medical outreaches.
The Medical Outreach took place in two different states in Nigeria, including Ibadan in Oyo State and Akure in Ondo State.
This is aimed at addressing certain health issues facing the people of the selected communities at the heart of Ibadan at Orisunbare and Akure, Alagbaka.

A Glimpse into Our Orisunbare Medical Outreach
At the heart of Orisunbare, Ibadan, our medical practitioners, and dedicated members of the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative, with utmost love and professionalism interacted with some inhabitants of the community, with a vibrant medical testing session that brought hope and healing to many.
The outreach featured a wide range of free medical services including blood pressure checks, blood sugar monitoring, recurring malaria testing, eye examinations, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments, and personalized health and wellness consultations.

Participants also benefited from an engaging health talk, distribution of corrective eyeglasses, and access to essential medications for various health conditions.
Beyond the treatments and tests, the session became a symbol of community spirit. It was more than just healthcare. It was more about connection. By standing side by side with the people of Orisunbare, the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative fostered a strong bond of trust, care, and shared humanity.
This outreach not only improved lives but also reinforced our commitment to advancing SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being for all.

Inspiring the Next Generation in Akure
As part of our outreach in Akure, Ondo State, we were delighted to engage directly with young minds in primary and secondary schools, future leaders who hold the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
The sessions focused on instilling the core values of the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative: empowering and equipping young people with both soft and hard skills needed to thrive in their chosen fields and emerge as champions of sustainable development and world leaders.
Through interactive mentorship sessions, we introduced students to the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead when guided by purpose, discipline, resilience, and mentorship. The initiative also formally enlisted many of these bright minds into the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Program, ensuring they receive continuous guidance and structured support.
Beyond skills training, the engagement emphasized personal growth, responsibility, and leadership. It was an investment in the future.
By nurturing these young learners today, we are sowing the seeds for a generation of responsible adults and transformational leaders who will drive progress in their communities and beyond.

Guiding Young Women Toward Purposeful Living
Our pioneering founder, Dr. Ifeoluwa Malmberg, joined hands with brilliant young ladies from secondary schools in Akure for a memorable mentorship session. The gathering went beyond academic talks.
It was about nurturing the whole person. Together, we explored ways to make meaningful strides intellectually, academically, socially, and spiritually.
The session featured an engaging career discourse, where Dr. Malberg encouraged the students to dream big, pursue excellence, and remain steadfast in their values. They were also challenged to be positive role models, setting good examples for their colleagues while inspiring those who look up to them.
Moments like these capture one of the heartbeats of the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative: raising a generation of young women who are not only prepared for personal success but also committed to uplifting others along the way.

In line with our vision of raising a generation of change-makers, Dr. Ifeoluwa Malberg spent time with brilliant young ladies from (Aquinas College), engaging them in an inspiring conversation on the importance of leadership and mentorship.
The session highlighted how true leadership is rooted in service, responsibility, and vision, while mentorship provides the guidance and support needed to bring those qualities to life.
By sharing experiences and practical wisdom, Dr. Malmberg inspired the students to see themselves not just as learners, but as emerging leaders who can shape their communities and influence the world around them.
Moments like these embody the spirit of the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative, quipping young women to give back, lead with integrity, and empower others along their journey.
A Golden Moment Between Mentor and Mentee
One of the most iconic highlights of our outreach was captured in a heartfelt image featuring Dr. Ifeoluwa Malmberg alongside our dedicated members.
With smiles radiating from both the mentor and the mentees, the pictures reflect more than just joy; it embody the essence of the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative.

This simple yet powerful moment symbolizes the bond that mentorship creates guidance paired with gratitude, wisdom shared with humility, and growth achieved through collaboration.
It is a reminder that mentorship is not only about passing knowledge but also about building relationships that inspire confidence and create lasting impact.
Indeed, such images are golden. They tell the story of how We Aspire continues to bridge generations, uniting leaders and learners in a shared mission to empower lives and transform communities.

Celebrating 10 Years of Mentorship in Akure
As part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations, the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative visited a secondary school at the heart of Akure, Ondo State, to mark a decade of shaping the future of young minds.
The visit reaffirmed our mission to mentor, empower, and guide young people toward a purposeful future. Through interactive sessions and heartfelt conversations, we reminded the students that they are not just learners today, but the leaders, innovators, and nation-builders of tomorrow.
For a decade, We Aspire has stood as a beacon of hope and guidance for Nigerian youth, and this school visit reflects our commitment to ensuring that the next decade continues to inspire transformation in communities across the country.

Empowering Members Through Digital Tools
At P33, Kuda Complex, Alagbaka, Akure, one of the highlights of our 10th Anniversary celebration was the handing over of brand-new gadgets, including tablets and personal computers (PCs) to dedicated We Aspire members.
This initiative was not merely about giving out devices; it was about equipping young people for the future of work. Each recipient had successfully completed at least one digital skill training, ensuring they were prepared to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.
With these tools in hand, our members are better positioned to participate in the gig economy, stay financially confident, and build pathways to independence.
The moment was a proud reflection of our mission: to bridge the gap between mentorship and empowerment by providing both knowledge and resources. For We Aspire, this is how we turn learning into opportunity, and opportunity into lasting impact.

Opening Doors of Possibility at St. Aquinas College
As part of our 10th Anniversary activities, the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative visited St. Aquinas College, Akure, to engage directly with students and help them envision the limitless opportunities that lie ahead.
The visit featured interactive teaching sessions and open discussions designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a sense of purpose in the students.
By sharing real-life experiences and practical insights, our mentors encouraged the young minds to think beyond their immediate environment and to see education, discipline, and mentorship as stepping stones to future success.
This outreach reaffirmed our commitment to guiding the next generation, not only by shaping their academic journey but also by preparing them to seize opportunities, take on leadership roles, and contribute meaningfully to society.
A Full-Circle Journey: From Mentee to Mentor
This moment captures the true spirit of the We Aspire Youth Mentorship Initiative, a proud mentor-mentee reunion that speaks volumes about the power of guidance, resilience, and impact.
What began 10 years ago as the journey of a young mentee has now come full circle. That pioneering mentee has grown, thrived, and today stands tall as both a PhD holder and a mentor, ready to inspire the next generation.
This transformation is more than an individual success story. It is living proof of the ripple effect mentorship creates. One life empowered becomes a source of empowerment for many others. For We Aspire, this is what a decade of meaningful mentorship looks like: building leaders, shaping futures, and leaving a legacy of impact.

Medical Outreach at FUTA Area, Akure

Their active participation, as both facilitators and beneficiaries, made the event a true reflection of the We Aspire spirits: service, unity, and positive generational transformations.
Mentors and Mentees United in Service
